The programme
Launched in 2022 and operational since 2024, Sansico's integrated FSC rattan supply chain connects smallholder harvesters and village artisan groups to US retail through a single certified chain of custody. Developed in partnership with Target under the NEST handworker standard, the programme targets emission reduction, rural livelihoods and full material traceability — turning a traditional craft into a verified, repeatable export supply chain.
